I'm planning on using laser cut MDF sheets to connect everything together. This will make prototyping quicker than trying to use my 3d printer or cnc mill. I've also picked up a hollow stepper and nozzle from Robotdigg. These nozzles look nice and high quality, The tip itself is metal and spring loaded, This should help avoiding damage, by mis-aligined placement height.
After completing the gantry of my original PnP. I didn't like the speed or accuracy. I also found adjusting the V-wheels was difficult. After reading through posts on openPnP I've decided to switch the CorexY system to a standard XY. I've only ever used round LMUU type linear rails. For this update I've decided to make use of Hiwin Linear rails. It's a bit of an expensive experiment, But after receiving the rails it's worth the extra investment.
I've almost got the entire XY gantry setup with drag chains. Plenty of work to do until I'm up and pick and placing. This includes all plumbing, electronics wiring, and the setup.
